This is the privacy notice of castit.ie. In this document “we”, “our”, or “us” refer to Castit. We are registered in Ireland.

This is a notice to inform you of our policy regarding the information that we record about you through our website. Founded in 1987, this Irish owned company has been leading the way in street furniture innovation, design and excellence since its inception. Castit is renowned for its excellent service, quality and reliability with each and every one of our customers. We manufacture and deliver a complete range of quality street furniture including house signs, metal signs, cycle stands, street signage and street benches throughout Ireland and the United Kingdom.

Who we are sharing your data with

We do not share personal data captured through our website with any third parties. Our website features plug-ins for easy sharing and following our social media pages: Facebook, operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA; LinkedIn, operated by LinkedIn, 2029 Stierlin Court Mountain View, CA 94043 United States and Twitter, 1 Cumberland Place, Fenian Street, Dublin 2. Browsing our website does not automatically result in sharing data on these social media networks. These plugins remain inactive (idle) until clicked upon. Once clicked upon, you will be taken to the said social media networks with their own specific privacy policies you are recommended to consult.

Security

There are appropriate security measures in place to protect your data in the event of being accidentally lost or accessed without authorisation including;

• We use AWS Cloud Security with data protection services that provide encryption, key management and threat detection that continuously monitors and protects accounts.
• AWS identifies threats by continuously monitoring the network activity and account behaviour within the cloud environment.
• Your data is also limited to only the necessary parties that need to process your data for business purposes.
• We also verify the identity of any individual who requests access to information prior to granting them access to information through the channels of a data subject access request.

Your data protection rights

Under data protection law, you have rights including:

• Your right of access – You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.
• Your right to rectification – You have the right to ask us to rectify information you think is inaccurate.  You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.
• Your right to erasure – You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances
• Your right to object – You have the right to ask us to stop processing your personal data for profiling or direct marketing
• Your right to restriction of processing – You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.
